Our target
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is a target we are building toward and checking against. It is not a certification.
Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) sets accessibility standards for organizations in the province, including for information, communications and customer service. We aim to meet the expectations that apply to us.
This draft needs review by Kelvin Mechanical before launch.
What has been done
- Keyboard navigation: menus, buttons, forms and links can be reached and used without a mouse, and the focus position is visible.
- Skip link: a skip link at the top of each page lets keyboard and screen reader users jump past the menu to the main content.
- Colour contrast: text and controls are designed to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
- Alt text: meaningful images have text descriptions, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Reduced motion: animation and movement are reduced when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Structure: pages use proper headings and landmarks, and form fields have labels and clear error messages.
- Flexible layout: text can be enlarged and the layout adapts to phones and tablets.
Known limits
No website is perfect, and we would rather be direct about the gaps.
- Embedded third-party tools, such as maps, video players and chat or booking widgets, may not meet every guideline.
- Manufacturer brochures and PDF documents that we link to may not be fully accessible.
- Some photos and videos may have incomplete descriptions, captions or transcripts, and we are improving them over time.
- Accessibility testing is part of our pre-launch checks, and results may lead to fixes after launch.
DRAFT: this statement is to be reviewed by Kelvin Mechanical before launch, and the items above need to be confirmed against the final build. It will be updated as testing and improvements continue.

If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us. We can provide documents such as quotes and service information in accessible formats on request, including plain text, large print or a phone conversation.
Email info@kelvinmechanical.ca or call +1 905-407-7353. Tell us which page you were on, what happened, what device or assistive technology you use and, if you can, the format you prefer. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can and work with you on a solution.
Booking without the website
You do not have to use the online forms. You can request a quote, book a visit or ask about an eligibility check by phone or email. Let us know about any access needs for a site review, and we will plan around them.
